Paul Vanduyn

My buddy Paul Vanduyn, who makes wonderful glass bird feeders stopped by today. He was stoved up and sore from being slammed on 38th street in Anderson by somedumbassed chick who dropped her cell phone and went after it as if she was sitting on her couch, except that she was driving in a car with her BABY in the back and crossed over into oncoming traffic to hit Paul.I see people doing this kind of stuff every day. I am so sorry that this happened to Paul. His life is impacted with the pain he is now in, without letup. Of course, the chick was driving someone else's car, blah, blah, blah. He will be tangled up with insurance bullshit for months. She and her baby were unhurt, but Paul looks like he has a broken rib and his livelihood is impacted as the vehicle he depends upon has been totaled. Old school guy that he is, he has kept his vehicle up and he will be screwed by the insurance settlement in the BEST of outcomes. I worry that he will not seek treatment for the obvious pain he is in. I see this kind of stupidassed behavior every day and it is only a matter of time until it impacts one of the responsible drivers like Paul. Sold five pieces today, several to a very good painter to use as a background for her paintings.
