John Bundy and I enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of the Bear's Mill staff at the opening of our show last friday evening. Our handmade rustic willow furniture and hand carved duck decoys were well displayed in the gallery and patrons seemed to enjoy talking with about our work. The show will run through August 25. Bear's Mill is just east of Greenville, Ohio. It is 78 miles from my shop in Lapel down the lovely peaceful drive that is Us 36, straight east of Pendleton.
During the run of this show, I will be preparing for the eighth Country Living show to be held once again at the lovely Ohio Village in the center of Columbus, Ohio. I spent yesterday sanding and finishing some sawmill tops for some long console tables. The shop is somewhat cleared out with a lot of stuff on display at Bear's Mill. The cool weather has made it very comfortable working in the shop. I will soon cut a large load of willow to make trellises and loveseats.
