The 24 th Lapel Village Fair wrapped up today, greatly benefiting from terrific weather. I had lot of people touring the shop and while sales were not great, I did have a number of people from Indianapolis making some custom orders. Unfortunately my buddy Joe Green did not sell any of his bags or walking sticks.
The food booths did very well. The Lions club guys sold every one of their roasting ears which were the best I have ever had. They also did chicken wings, which were wildy successful because they were SO good!
It will be a drastic sudden change from the hordes of people going by, to the extremely quiet normal days in Lapel.
