Trip to Greenville, Ohio

Today John Bundy and I loaded up a couple of truckloads of our handmade rustic willow furniture and duck decoys and took them to Bear's Mill, just southeast of Greenville. We were invited to exhibit our furniture in their gallery from now until August 25th. There will be an opening party and reception Friday July 26th.

John and I are quite flattered to be invited to exhibit our wares in the classy gallery space at the old restored mill. We both are interested in history and the mill dates from 1845. Greenville itself as a rich history, being incorporated in 1793. Old fort Greenville was the gateway to the Indiana territory. The Garst museum, in downtown Greenville, has a great museum of local history and there will be an art fair on the grounds July 26-27.

We would love for people to come out to see our work and talk with us about it at the reception from 6-9 Friday July 26th. The mill is very interesting and the grounds are lovely. The folks who have successfully restored the mill are to be commended for saving and preserving such a treasured part of our history. The volunteers are hardworking and friendly. They set up and take down a new exhibit of arts EVERY MONTH!!!!
Our hats are off to them.
