I set up my display at the Frankfort Public Library today after a soggy, windy drive to Clinton County. For thirty-three years the Friends of the Library have sponsored a holiday arts weekend. There are forty or so artist setting up in the spacious second floor. Many are Indiana artisans. It is an enormous job to inventory and sell all this art.
It was a busy night at the preview party Friday night. The library was throbbing with buyers and lots of patrons purchased items from the artist. There were some very cutting edge woodwork and I was flattered to be among the work exhibited.
Hours are:
Friday 7:30-9:30 preview.
Saturday 10:00-5:00.
Sunday 10:00-5:00.
My old buddy Tom Wright will play a concert in the lovely auditorium of the library on Saturday night.
