McCormick's Creek June 11, 2016

John Bundy and myself will represent Traditional Arts Indiana this coming Saturday at McCormick's Creek state park for their Eleventh Arts in the Park event. We will be doing demonstrations of our craft along with six other Traditional Arts Indiana artists. This is one of the numerous events Traditional Arts Indiana is doing throughout the state during this bicentennial year.

John and I have long been anticipating the Bicenntenial and his hand carved bisons will be on display at all of these events. The bison is the dominant image on the Indiana state seal. Of course his celebrated duck decoys along with my handmade rustic willow furniture will be on display and be available for sale.

Bicentennial events focus attention upon traditional arts and crafts that are in danger of being lost and Traditional Arts Indiana is in the forefront of agencies trying to preserve and promote the legacy of the past. We will also have our display at The Taste of Lafayette Saturday June 18.
