Morse lake report

Morse lake was still full of loons yesterday. Dark and gloomy morning revealed at least 40 loons, more than I have ever seen there.Horned grebes, least grebes, scoops and 4 swans.(I saw a juvenile dead on the road the other day).It would be interesting to know if waterfowl are leaving and being replaced by new arrivals or if they are just hanging around. The weather has been mild and the wind has died down.
