On the way to the shop I stopped to see if there were any snipe, but they were not there. On the way home tonight, they were back. My buddy Geoff Davis was also able to see them too. I watched an immature pileated woodpecker fruitlessly pounding on a telephone pole. I have only had a closer view once or twice and of course I did not have my camera!!!
Also saw a coyote flash down the crossing at Lafayette Trace.
Worked on staining willow sticks to complete the mirrors for my buddy Brad McQueen. A lot of production work, takes me back to the days I worked at the pallet factory when I was 15. I was able to break it up with covering a few stools with beautiful leather from Brad.
