Indiana Artisan Marketplace

I am getting ready to gather my handmade rustic willow furniture to return to the State Fairgrounds Expo hall to participate in the third Indiana Artisan Marketplace. This is always a wonderful show and I am always flattered to be among the finest artisans in the state. This year my work will be featured in a couple of room settings using items from different artisans that will be on display during the show. This year there will be a preview party on Friday which should be great fun. Friday will offer exclusive admission to registered retailers as a means for them to consider Artisan wares for wholesale purchase.

My friend John Bundy will show his wonderful duck decoys and we will both have the tables that we have collaborated in building. He uses his skill as a finisher to do the tops, which he has selected from his vast store of figured Indiana hardwoods. I do the rustic bases. A photo of one of the duck decoys is shown below:

At the same time on Saturday, the Indie Vintage show that has gained a terrific reputation for their shows at Glendale during the summer, and lately at the Fountains in Carmel will debut at the Agricultural building. People attending the Artisan Marketplace will be able to attend their show on Saturday and see cutting edge Vintage good. Valarie Bundy will have booth at this show.
The photo is from the 2012 Marketplace.
